C.J.: Lohan stirs rumors in Uptown
C.J., Star Tribune
July 17, 2005
Chino Latino's GM Michael Larson couldn't wait to "talk about this mythical story of Lindsay Lohan getting served" alcohol at the bar and restaurant.
Under the headline "Loaded again," The New York Post's PAGE SIX reported last Sunday that the "teen terror ... a regular underage imbiber at hip clubs in New York and L.A., boozed it up the other night at Chino Latino restaurant in St. Paul, Minn., where she's shooting 'A Prairie Home Companion.' "
Whoever snitched to PAGE SIX must have been drunk because Chino Latino is in Minneapolis.
"Lindsay Lohan has created quite a stir in this town, hasn't she?" Larson said. "I have a 14-year-old daughter, and her friends will call her and say, Hey, ask your dad if Lindsay Lohan was there!"
Lohan, 19, is becoming a regular at the hip Uptown establishment, but she's not being served any alcohol, he said. Chino Latino's policy is to card anyone who doesn't look 30. Lohan doesn't look 30, even in one of the goofy hats she thinks disguise her. "We treat all guests the same, whether they are celebrities or a working stiff like me," Larson said.
